Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 8am - 7pm with 1 hour break; Wednesday: 9am - 7pm.
Job Overview:
A lovely French family based in Paris are looking for a proactive, organised and fun Residential Nanny to help care for their three children: two boys aged 7 and 5, and a girl aged 3. Both parents are French and have lived in London for several years; the boys were born in London and the children are bilingual. The children are bilingual and all three attend school during the day. The role includes all child-related household duties, family cooking, driving to activities, and some travel during school holidays. Separate accommodation is provided in the same building as the family. There are no pets.
Responsibilities:
- Providing loving, caring and stimulating care for the three children.
- Supporting the children before and after school.
- Planning age-appropriate activities and encouraging curiosity and development.
- Driving the children to activities.
- All child-related household duties, including children’s laundry and ironing.
- Keeping the children’s areas clean and tidy.
- Cooking meals for the family to enjoy together (no allergies).
- Working alongside a bilingual nanny helper on Wednesdays.
- Travelling with the family during holidays when required, including trips to their country house in Normandy, 2km from the sea, as well as Provence, the west of France and skiing during the winter break.
- Packing and organising child-related items for travel as needed.
Ideal Nanny:
- Excellent fluent English speaker.
- Experienced with children of similar ages.
- Confident driver required.
- Proactive, organised, loving, caring and stimulating.
- Fun, curious and able to use common sense, humour is a plus.
- EU passport would be ideal, although the family are happy to apply for a visa for the right candidate.
- Comfortable working in a home where both parents are French and the children are bilingual.
