Permanent Daily Housekeeper – VIP Private Household, Marylebone, London

Salary: £50,000 per annum

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:00am – 7:00pm

Weekend Work: Not required

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced and professional Housekeeper to join a fully staffed VIP private household in Marylebone. This is a long-term position working within a large London residence under the supervision of the House Manager and alongside an established household team. Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping to the highest standards throughout the property
• Laundry, ironing, and wardrobe management
• Specialist care of luxury designer clothing, delicate fabrics, and high-value furnishings
• Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of all household areas
• Preparing light breakfasts or snacks for the principals when required
• Walking two small family dogs for approximately 30 minutes during the working day
• Liaising professionally with household staff, principals, and occasional guests

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will work alongside a Morning Housekeeper whose shift runs from 7:00am to 3:00pm. To ensure familiarity with all household routines, you will be required to cover the morning shift for one week each month.

The household also employs permanent nannies and chefs; therefore, this role is focused primarily on housekeeping duties.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years' experience working as a Private Housekeeper within high-end private households
• Experience maintaining large London residences to exceptional standards
• Strong knowledge of garment care, including luxury and delicate items
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills
• Professional, discreet, and well-presented at all times
• Friendly, flexible, and able to work effectively as part of a team
• Comfortable working in a household environment where the property is occasionally used for business meetings and entertaining
• Dog-friendly and happy to assist with pet care duties

Essential Requirements:

• Excellent written references
• Valid DBS certificate
• Valid passport and unrestricted right to work in the UK
