French Speaking Governess | Cairo, Egypt | Live-in | ASAP Start ????

A lovely family based in Cairo is seeking an experienced native-level French speaking Governess to join their fully staffed household and support the education and development of two children aged 7 and 9, both attending a British curriculum school.

The family already employs two English Governors, and are now looking for a French-speaking educator to develop the children’s French language naturally through daily interaction and educational activities.

Position Details:

• Location: Cairo, Egypt

• Start: ASAP (flexible for the right candidate)

• Schedule: 6 days per week, up to 10 hours per day (reduced hours during school periods)

• Accommodation: Separate self-contained flat with private entrance

• Full board provided

• Salary: £72,000 gross per annum (equivalent package considered)

• Potential for Rota arrangements for the right candidate

• Travel required with the family across Europe, the UK and occasionally the USA

Requirements:

✔ Native-level French speaker (French or Swiss French preferred)

✔ Degree in Childcare, Education or related field

✔ Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience

✔ Passionate about child development and education

✔ Flexible, professional and confident working within a multi-staffed household

✔ Comfortable travelling internationally
