Live-In Nanny – Islington, London

Start Date: 3rd August 2026
Location: Islington, London
Hours: Full-Time, 50 hours per week
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum, depending on experience

Preferred. A nanny who can speak at least conversational French

A professional family based in Islington is seeking a warm, and confident live-in nanny to provide sole-charge care for their baby, who will be 4 months old at the start of the role.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurturing nanny with some experience caring for young babies who is looking for a long-term position with a welcoming family.

The Role

• Sole-charge care of a 4-month-old baby

• Supporting all aspects of the baby's daily routine and development

• Planning age-appropriate activities and sensory play

• Preparing bottles and weaning meals when appropriate

• Nursery duties, including:

  • Keeping the nursery and play areas tidy

  • Children's laundry

  • Organising baby clothing and equipment

• Light housekeeping 

The Ideal Candidate

•  Some experience caring for young babies

• Confident in a sole-charge role

• Warm, attentive, and proactive

• Enhanced DBS check

• Paediatric First Aid certificate

• Excellent references

• Driver preferred

• French-speaking nanny highly desirable

Both parents work full-time, making this a fully sole-charge position. The family is looking for a nanny who can become a trusted and valued part of their child's early years, providing attentive care and supporting their development in a loving and stimulating environment.
