Location: Mayfair, London
Accommodation: Provided whilst on duty
Schedule: 1 Month On / 1 Month Off Rotation
Salary: £60,000 to £80,000 DOE (please present expectations)
Start: 8th August 2026
Trial: 21st July to 27th July 2026
Commitment: Long Term
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced Rota Nanny to join a highly regarded UHNW family based in Mayfair. The family is well known to Quintessential Governess, having previously appointed a Governess for their older child through the agency.
The role will focus on the care and development of a little boy aged 1. The family have recently relocated from California to the UK and are specifically seeking a US citizen to maintain consistency and familiarity for their son.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively within a fully staffed household and accompany the family on extensive international travel throughout the year.
Responsibilities:
• Sole and shared care of a little boy aged 1
• Supporting age appropriate development and milestones
• Planning engaging and stimulating activities
• Maintaining routines and consistency
• Nursery duties relating to the child
• Travelling extensively with the family
• Working collaboratively with parents and household staff
Requirements:
• US citizen (essential)
• Minimum 5 years' experience within UHNW private households
• Proven experience caring for children of a similar age
• Strong understanding of child development
• Childcare qualifications advantageous
• Proactive, organised and conscientious approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work successfully within a fully staffed household
• Flexible and travel ready
Package:
• Salary £60,000 to £80,000 depending on experience
• One month on / one month off rota schedule
• Accommodation provided whilst on duty
