*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Qualified Nursery Nurse to join our childcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education and a strong commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. This role offers an opportunity to utilise your management and leadership skills whilst working closely with children to support their developmental needs.
*Duties*
* Plan and deliver engaging educational activities tailored to the developmental stages of children in the nursery
* Supervise and support children during play, learning, and mealtime routines
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, adhering to health and safety regulations
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
* Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive team environment focused on high-quality childcare
* Assist with organising nursery events and parent meetings
* Manage daily administrative tasks related to child attendance and activity planning
* Lead by example in demonstrating excellent communication skills with children, parents, and team members
* Drive nursery vehicles when required for outings or errands
*Qualifications*
* recognised qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Childcare) or equivalent
* Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting
* Strong management and leadership abilities within a childcare environment
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative
* Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending external activities
* Commitment to safeguarding standards and maintaining a safe environment for children
Pay: £10.85-£13.00 per hour
