Job Description
*Company Overview*
Busikids Day Nursery and Pre school is a friendly, professional, independant childcare provider established in 1997. Located in a beautiful countryside setting near Hedge End, Southampton, we are dedicated to fostering learning through play and nurturing young minds in a safe, engaging environment.
*Summary*
We are seeking a qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Busikids. This full-time or part-time role based near Hedge End offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of young children while supporting our mission of learning through play.
* We are open Monday to Friday 7.30 am to 6 pm and operate a rolling shift system between 8am and 6pm that allows for a ‘short’ day every other day.
* The salary starts at £25,000 per annum, *working an average of 37.5 hours a week *for level 3 and £24,500 per annum for level 2. There may also be an opportunity to extend your working week.
* We are currently offering a £500 starting bonus, pro rata to the hours worked. (Terms and conditions apply).
* You will be able to plan and carry out a variety of fun activities with the children in line with the Early Years’ curriculum.
* We will train you in Nursery ways if you are newly qualified and ease you into the role.
*You will be expected to:*
* Provide high-quality care and education to children in accordance with nursery policies and procedures.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote early childhood development.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
* Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children.
* Support the professional development of team members through leadership and management.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding regulations.
* *Qualifications*
* Relevant qualification at level 3 or 2 in early years childcare.
* Strong communication skills in English.
* Passion for early childhood education and child development.
