Position Overview

Proactive, dependable, and friendly housekeeper-nanny needed (70/30). Someone who can help manage the large house, has an eye for detail, is keen to keep the house tidy, organised, and presentable, and confident using their initiative.

This is an ideal role for an experienced housekeeper who also has experience with young children. Someone who likes to work within a small team (the family's nanny is really looking forward to you starting!). The focus is on finding the right fit.

The family has been working with an experienced nanny/PA from Monday to Thursday. Your role will be to support her and help run the household. It's vital you are happy to take direction and work in a team. The family and nanny/PA have a strong relationship and great open communication; they are looking for someone happy to be part of the team.

The children attend school, daycare, and local activities. They are creative, chatty, active, and love being on the move. The nanny is responsible for the children; however, you will need to provide some support with childcare. The nanny/PA will work with you to create a manageable daily schedule.

Ideal candidates enjoy both housekeeping and childcare.

Some occasional flexibility would be appreciated.

Commitment: 12 - 18 months at least.

Responsibilities and duties:

You will be supported by the weekly cleaners, who will arrange cleaning of the home. You will need to do some cleaning tasks on the days they are not working, e.g., clean the toilet, etc

Housekeeping, including making the beds, changing sheets (as needed)

Helping with laundry and ironing (not all clothing)

This role is approximately 70% housekeeping and 30% childcare.

Experience, qualifications, approach, and skills

Minimum of three years of experience in similar roles
