GI03: Live-in Nanny (to teenagers) & Housekeeping Support

Job Description

Location: Southern Spain Area
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3 full days + 2 half days. Weekends off.
Salary: Competitive for the right candidate
Start Date: ASAP

Overview

A busy family of five is seeking a dedicated and highly “switched-on” Live-in Nanny & Household Support professional to manage their 3 teenagers and the daily flow of their home. This is a foundational role for someone who takes true pride in their work, operates as a self-starter, and understands the nuances working in an UHNW environment and of supporting teenage children.

The focus of this role is the children, as the family already employs a full-time housekeeper for deep cleaning; however, this position requires a proactive “muck-in” attitude. You will be expected to support the housekeeer to ensure the home remains in an immaculate and flawlessly maintained state at all times during the 4 weekly morning blocks, after the children have been taken to school.

We are looking for a proactive individual who can operate independently while fully respecting family dynamics and parenting styles.

This is a long-term opportunity for a warm, organized professional to join a household that values staff longevity.

Responsibilities

  • Childcare: Manage the daily routines of the children, ensuring all school equipment/uniforms are prepared for the following day, etc.
  • Proxy-parenting: Confidently care for the kids overnight when parents are traveling, ensuring routines are always kept and meal times and bed times are followed.
  • Kitchen: Prepare snacks and dinner for the children, ensure they are eating their meals at the appropriate times, and maintain the kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness and organization.
  • Light Housekeeping: While a full-time housekeeper handles deep cleaning, you will be expected to assist her while the children are away at school (rest time will always be respected).
  • Logistics & Errands: While the family employs a full-time driver, the candidate must be confident to step in and carry out school runs or ad-hoc errands when required.
  • Travel: Be flexible to accompany the family on occasional international trips as required.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who identifies what needs to be done and executes it before it is voiced, effectively reducing the mental load for the parents. You possess the emotional intelligence to act as a warm mentor to teenagers while maintaining the firm boundaries and structure required in an UHNW home. This role is for a proactive professional who finds genuine satisfaction in caring for children, takes pride in their work and can ensure the household remains in a pristine state at all times.

Requirements

  • Languages: Fluency in English and Spanish essential.
  • Driver: Must be a confident driver with a valid license.
  • Legal: EU Passport is required.
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar role.
