Nanny (Full-Time) – Royal Household, Oman, one Boy 2.5

Role Overview:

A highly sought-after opportunity has arisen for an experienced and nurturing nanny to join a fully staffed, formal royal household based in Oman. The role will focus on the care and development of one child, a boy aged 2.5 years old (turning 3 in November).

The child has had a very protected upbringing within a royal environment, and the family are now seeking a warm, intuitive, and confident nanny who can support his continued development while gently encouraging independence in a child-led manner.

This is a full-time, live-in position working alongside other nannies within the household. The role requires excellent teamwork, discretion, and the ability to integrate seamlessly into an established team. The family spends part of the summer in London and requires the nanny to travel with them.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide attentive, developmentally focused care
• Support and guide age-appropriate milestones and early learning
• Create engaging, stimulating, and varied daily routines
• Work collaboratively with other nannies and household staff
• Follow parental guidance while confidently taking initiative
• Maintain a calm, structured, and nurturing environment
• Travel with the family internationally, including extended stays in London

Candidate Requirements:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within UHNW/private households caring for children of a similar age
• Strong early years background or relevant qualification
• Waldorf training or experience is highly desirable
• Native or fluent English speaker
• Warm, calm, and child-led approach to care and development
• Professional, discreet, and highly organised
• Confident working within a formal, fully staffed household
• Flexible and travel-ready

Package:
• Salary from £60,000+ per annum, paid in Omani Rial, doe
• 30 days annual leave
