Job Overview:
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for two professional, qualified and experienced rota nannies to join a welcoming, hands-on family caring for their baby aged 6 months. Taking over from the maternity nurse, the successful nannies will step into a well-established routine and provide a high standard of attentive, knowledgeable care as the baby moves into the next developmental stages. This is a highly appealing position offering the chance to work in a formal fully staffed household, both in London and internationally, for a family who are genuinely engaged in their child’s care and appreciate an experienced nanny’s guidance. It is ideally suited to forward-thinking, confident candidates who are calm, organised, developmentally focused, and excited by the prospect of regular travel. Preference will be given to nannies with previous rota experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Providing attentive, high-quality care for the baby in both shared care and sole charge settings.
  • Maintaining, adapting and developing the baby’s established routine as needed.
  • Supporting key developmental stages, including sleep, weaning and age-appropriate milestones as the child grows.
  • Carrying out all nursery duties to a high standard.
  • Planning the baby’s day with initiative, thought and a proactive approach.
  • Working closely with the parents, offering knowledgeable and supportive guidance when appropriate.
  • Travelling frequently with the family in Europe and worldwide.
Ideal Nanny:
  • Fully qualified and highly experienced in caring for babies and young children.
  • Strong knowledge of sleep, routines, weaning, child development and general baby care.
  • Professional, proactive and confident in using initiative.
  • Warm, supportive and able to build a strong working relationship with involved parents.
  • Experienced in both shared care and sole charge roles.
  • Good judgement around family dynamics to allow valuable family time.
  • A proven team player who works well within a formal fully staffed household.
  • Enjoys travelling and ideally has previous experience travelling with families.
  • Calm, discreet, flexible and highly organised.
Perks of the Role:
  • A highly attractive 24/14 rota arrangement offering excellent balance.
  • Opportunity to join a fully staffed private household in a long-term role.
  • London base with regular international travel.
  • The chance to work closely with engaged, hands-on parents.
  • A varied and rewarding position supporting a baby through an important stage of development.
