This is a short-term role (3 - 4 months) with strong potential to become a long term position for the right candidate. Alongside a rewarding role caring for a happy baby, you will be part of a lovely family unit that includes an older child and a much loved family pet all while enjoying exceptional accommodation in your own private cottage.

About the Role
You will primarily care for a content and well-routined baby who is a joy to look after. The family also has an 8-year-old girl who is independent and at school during the day. While your main focus will be the baby, you will occasionally support with light care and engagement for the older child.
The parents (both are working from home) are hands-on and value a shared-care approach, seeking a nanny who is collaborative, intuitive, and genuinely enjoys being part of family life.

Your Responsibilities
Providing loving, attentive care for the baby
Maintaining the baby’s established routine
Supporting early development through gentle, age-appropriate activities
Assisting with nursery-related duties
Occasional care and engagement with the 8-year-old (e.g., after school support)
Preparing healthy, balanced meals for the children and family
Travelling with the family when required
Being comfortable around the family’s friendly Maltese dog
Working harmoniously alongside the parents in a shared-care capacity

Strong baby experience (essential)
Kind, gentle, and naturally nurturing
Confident, organised, and adaptable
Happy to support both a baby and a school-aged child when needed
Enjoys cooking and is confident preparing family meals
Comfortable travelling with the family
Pet-friendly and happy around dogs
Comfortable in a shared-care role
A confident driver (preferred)
Fluent English (essential)
Polish, Italian, or Spanish would be a lovely bonus
