Nursery Nurse Level 3

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate level 3 Nursery Nurse to join our childcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. The Nursery Nurse will play a vital role in supporting early childhood education and ensuring high standards of childcare are maintained at all times.

*Duties*

* Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
* Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
* Support children's emotional, social, and physical growth through engaging play and interaction
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities
* Collaborate with colleagues to create an organised and welcoming nursery environment
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and daily experiences
* Assist in managing the nursery’s daily operations, including organising routines and managing resources
* Demonstrate leadership by guiding junior staff members and supporting team development
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting
* Drive responsibilities may include transporting children safely to outings or appointments when required

*Experience*

* experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting would be great but not compulsory
* leadership skills to oversee daily nursery activities effectively - can provide training for this
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
* Knowledge of childcare practices, early childhood education principles, and child development stages
* Experience with child supervision, behaviour management, and creating engaging learning environments
* Valid driving licence is desirable for transporting children or attending off-site activities
