Kind and easy going young European family looking for a warm, nurturing, experienced nanny-housekeeper/ family assistant to work with their family for 3 days over the weekend (Friday, Sat & Sunday). (They have a full time nanny 4 days Mon-Thurs).

They are looking for a nanny-housekeeper / family assistant, someone who is able to work alongside the parents, in team work and help out with children, activities, cooking, putting a wash on etc.

They are looking for a nanny who fits well with them and will stay with them for years - their current nanny has been happily with them for 3 years.

The family would like nanny to travel with them to the countryside one weekend per month and accompany them sometimes when they travel overseas.
Nanny should be gentle, caring and patient. Never speaking roughly nor treating the children roughly.
The family has a cleaner.
Both parents work full time (mum is just returning to work after maternity leave now)

Location: Kensington, W8
This is a European family settled long term in the UK. 
Children: 4 years old, 2 years old and baby born (Oct 2025)

Starting: asap
Salary: £26 gross per hour.

Nanny and light housekeeping
Weekends, parents are around, so it is a muck in and everyone helps. Parents value weekend help as they both work full time during the week. Parents are both super lovely, caring and down to earth.
All typical duties related to the children, both at home and outside. Following their routine, picking them up from school, and taking them to and from activities or play dates depending on the work schedule. Tidying rooms, laundry, engaging in play and supporting their growth etc. 
All light housekeeping duties. Apart from taking care of the children, they have experience doing light housekeeping: cooking for the family or kids, keeping the house tidy, ironing or vacuuming, doing laundry if necessary, and cleaning the bathrooms, wiping dust, etc. We’ll need help around the house because the children don’t occupy all of the working hours, but the main cleaning is done by a cleaner. It’s a matter of mindset and willingness to help with other tasks, rather than the main function. It would otherwise become complicated when we travel or during weekends, since at those times we spend more time with the children ourselves. Flexibility is important to us. We understand it works both ways.

Requirements
Strong ability to create a nurturing, safe, happy environment
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Punctual, reliable, and legally able to work in the UK
Current valid Enhanced DBS - on the DBS update service
Current Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK & already living in London within short commute of W8
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work
Demonstrate longevity in previous similar nanny roles (2 to 5 years in nanny jobs)
Able to run after small children
Used to shared and sole charge
Experienced with multiples of young children
Baby experience.
Be able to engage in play at floor level for extended periods of time and get up from the floor quickly.
