An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced, dedicated and confident Housekeeper/Cook in Central London. An afternoon/early evening role that focuses on dinner preparation for a family of 6, the role requires a confident family-style cook who is able to prepare fresh meals on a daily basis.

The family enjoy a range of different cuisines and though their expectation isn’t to have restaurant style meals, they do enjoy flavourful, thoughtfully prepared family-style meals that are cooked from scratch. The parents and children all eat the same meals, though the successful candidate should be able to cater to different dietary needs when required.

In addition to preparing dinner, you will ensure that the kitchen is clean and tidy at the end of your shift, as well as doing a general tidy of the home. The family employ a live-in nanny/housekeeper and have another part-time housekeeper working mornings, so the afternoon/evening housekeeper will be required to tie up any loose ends, such as putting laundry away, unpacking any deliveries that arrived etc.

A live-out role, working hours are Monday to Friday from 4:30pm-7:30pm. The ideal candidate will be creative, resourceful and pleasant with a team player mentality. There are no pets in the home.

DUTIES TO INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
• Preparing fresh, tasty home cooked meals on a daily basis
• Laying/clearing the table and tidying up the dining areas and kitchen
• Ensuring the fridge and cupboards are tidy and clean
• Ad-hoc laundry and ironing, putting laundry away
• General tidy of all living areas
• Reporting to the PA and liaising with other household staff where needed

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
• Confidence in preparing healthy, fresh family-style meals and ability to cater to different dietary requirements
• Prior housekeeping experience in high-end private households
• Hygienic in your ways of working
• Proactive, confident and a good communicator
• Good spoken English
• Eligibility to work in the UK
