Role Overview

We are recruiting an experienced, French-speaking Rota Nanny for a high-net-worth family based in Holland Park, London. This position operates on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rota schedule, working alongside another Nanny to provide seamless care.

The role involves the full care and educational development of twin boys aged 16 months. This is a long-term opportunity suited to a confident, nurturing and professional candidate with strong early years experience, ideally with twins or children of a similar age.

The successful candidate will be proactive in supporting developmental milestones, creating enriching experiences, and working collaboratively within a well-established household team to ensure consistency of care across both rota shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Providing full care, supervision and age-appropriate guidance for the twin boys
Planning and implementing engaging, developmentally appropriate educational activities and play
Creating stimulating indoor and outdoor experiences, ideally incorporating a Montessori-inspired approach
Supporting developmental milestones including routine progression, potty training and dummy/pacifier weaning
Confidently managing sleep routines, meal times and overall daily structure during rota weeks
Adapting routines in line with the children’s development and individual needs
Maintaining clear and consistent communication with parents and the rota Nanny to ensure seamless handovers
Working collaboratively with household staff
Accompanying the family on UK and International travel when required
Candidate Requirements

Native or fluent French speaker
Strong experience caring for young children from approximately 15 months
Proven experience caring for multiple children simultaneously (twin experience highly desirable)
Recognised childcare qualifications preferred
Up-to-date First Aid certification and DBS
Good working knowledge of English
Demonstrated longevity within private household roles
Excellent, verifiable references
Flexible, discreet, positive and professional approach
