The Family

An UHNW family based in Central London is seeking an experienced, proactive and highly organised Rota Nanny to join their fully staffed household.

The family have two children:

One child currently attending boarding school aged 10
This is a long-term position suited to a highly educated candidate with previous UHNW experience and excellent, checkable references.

The Role

This is a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rota position. During working weeks, the role is 24/7.

The successful candidate will be calm, discreet, adaptable and capable of managing a busy and ever-changing household schedule with confidence and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

Ensuring the children’s health, safety and overall wellbeing at all times
Raising any concerns directly with the Principal
Supporting social development and encouraging positive behaviour
Providing academic support including:
Languages (French, English and others as directed)
Mathematics
Core curriculum subjects
Managing medical needs including:
Attending doctor appointments
Administering medication
Maintaining organised and fully stocked medical supplies
Overseeing and managing full wardrobe inventories
Packing, organising and managing clothing and schedules during travel
Assisting with laundress-related duties for the children when travelling
Managing the children’s diaries, schedules, lists and spreadsheets
Maintaining strong communication with Principals and household staff
Candidate Requirements

The Rota Nanny must have:

Minimum 5 years’ experience working within UHNW private households
Longevity in previous roles
A highly educated background
Strong IT skills and confidence managing digital schedules and spreadsheets
A positive and calm demeanour
A kind but firm approach
Confidence in setting fair boundaries and discipline
Patience and emotional intelligence
Exceptional organisational skills — always thinking ahead
Impeccable presentation
Full flexibility, particularly around travel
Working Schedule

Rota: 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off
Hours: 24/7 whilst on duty
Accommodation

Private bedroom located near the children’s rooms
Own bathroom
