Description
A high-profile family in Monaco is seeking an experienced, professional Governess to support the care and development of their 7-year-old daughter. This is a live-in role offering beautiful, separate accommodation nearby. The ideal candidate will be highly educated, nurturing, and adept at managing the schedule of an active young child. You will play a key role in her educational journey and personal development, working closely with the family to ensure a structured yet warm environment.

Schedule: The position is permanent, live-in, full-time, 5 days per week (flexible days off, to be agreed with the family). Working hours are primarily in the afternoons due to school attendance.

Key Responsibilities

Educational Support: Provide one-on-one educational guidance, assisting with homework, reading, and school projects. Encourage intellectual curiosity and support the curriculum provided by the school.
After-School Routine: The child attends school 4 days per week; the role is primarily active during afternoons. Plan and supervise engaging activities that promote learning and creativity.
Extracurricular Activities: Coordinate and accompany the child to sport, music, or cultural activities. Ensure a healthy balance between education, physical activity, and leisure.
Personal Development: Instil good manners, etiquette, and social grace. Act as a positive role model, reinforcing the values of the family.
Daily Routine Management: Oversee the child's daily schedule, including meal times (in coordination with household staff), rest, and play. Ensure she is prepared for school and social engagements.
Communication: Maintain open and professional communication with the parents regarding the child's progress, needs, and well-being.

Requirements:

Teaching Background: Qualified teacher or holds a relevant degree/ diploma in education or child development.
Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience working with children (specifically age 7+) in a high-profile, private household.
Language: Fluent English speaker (both written and verbal).
EU Passport: Required for ease of working in Monaco.
Up-to -date DBS (Police Check)
Accommodation: A well-presented, separate accommodation is provided near the principal residence, allowing for privacy.

Salary: From €60,000 EUR net per annum (negotiable for the right candidate).
