Professional live out housekeeper sought for a prestigious private property in Bradford-on-Avon, set within a historic 500–600-year-old manor house with a large adjoining cottage, spanning approximately 10 acres of grounds including a tennis court, lake, pond.

Staff Duties

The home comprises 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and is supported by a fully staffed team including a house manager, part time chef, gardeners and external renovation plans underway to add a gym and spa. Working for 3 days per week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am–7pm (10 hours per day). The successful candidate must be a confident driver with their own car and demonstrate a friendly, discreet, professional and proactive approach, working well as part of a team. Duties will include high-standard cleaning, laundry, ironing, antique polishing, floor care using appropriate methods, light flower arranging, grocery shopping, running errands and general upkeep of the household. The chef manages all dinner parties, with family cooking required. Peacocks, sheep and goats on the grounds (no duties required). The household is easy-going and relaxed day-to-day, becoming more formal when entertaining.

Essential Notes

Salary offered is £16–£18phn (£31,160 – £35,748gpa) depending on experience. Interviews to commence immediately for an ASAP start.
