A private family in the Moscow region (Novaya Riga) is seeking a Native English or Native French Governess / Governor / Tutor to work with two children (a boy and a girl, 6 years old). This is a sole-charge, part-time position suitable for a qualified and experienced educator who enjoys combining language tuition with active, engaging childcare in a family setting.

The governess/governor/tutor will provide general care and support for the children, manage their after-school schedule, and deliver language lessons in English or French. Responsibilities include helping with homework, organizing educational games, planning indoor and outdoor activities, and accompanying the children on walks. The role focuses on creating a positive, communicative, and language-rich environment that supports the children’s development.

The ideal candidate is a native English or native French speaker with relevant experience working in private families and/or educational institutions. A qualification in education, teaching, linguistics, or childcare is preferred. The family is looking for a fun, active, positive, friendly, and communicative person who is confident working independently and taking full responsibility in a sole-charge role.

The schedule is part-time, live-out, working 2–3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) from 16:00 until 20:00. Additional working hours on weekends may be discussed by mutual agreement.

This position offers a flexible part-time schedule, a supportive family environment, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the children’s language development. It is ideal for experienced native educators based in or near the Moscow region.
