About the Family

A warm, respectful, and fully staffed UHNW household based in Dubai, well known to Quintessential Governess are now looking for a highly experienced baby Nanny. We have already successfully placed a nanny within the household, and the family has an excellent reputation for treating staff with professionalism, kindness, and respect.

There are two older children (6&4) in the family, both of whom already have their own nannies. This role is solely focused on the new baby.

The family also has properties in Oman and travels extensively throughout Europe, so the successful candidate must be comfortable with international travel and adapting routines as required.

The Role

This is a permanent baby nanny position caring for a newborn baby. The baby is due in April, with the role starting in March to allow the nanny time to settle into the household, become familiar with the family, and prepare for the baby’s arrival.

The role is a 12 hour day shift, with a maternity nanny already in place covering night duties. This provides a clear structure and allows the baby to receive consistent, high quality care around the clock.

The successful candidate will be highly experienced with newborns and confident working within a professional, fully staffed household. The role requires someone calm, organised, proactive, and able to think ahead, anticipating the baby’s needs before they arise.

Key Responsibilities

• Full daytime care of a newborn baby, including feeding, settling, hygiene, sleep routines, and developmental support
• Supporting the family in preparation for the baby’s arrival during the settling in period
• Establishing and maintaining age appropriate routines in coordination with the night maternity nanny
• Working collaboratively with other nannies and household staff
• Preparing and packing baby items for outings and travel with excellent attention to detail
• Thinking ahead and anticipating practical needs, such as feeding supplies, weather appropriate items, comfort essentials
• Supporting the family during international travel and adapting routines as required
• Ensuring the baby’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing at all times

Candidate Requirements

• Native or fluent Tagalog speaker
• Extensive, demonstrable experience caring for newborns and young babies
• Previous experience working in private households, ideally within UHNW or fully staffed environments
• Confident traveller with strong organisational and packing skills
• Proactive, calm, and solutions focused
• Able to think ahead and mitigate foreseeable issues
• Discreet, professional, and respectful
• Comfortable working as part of a team

The Package
