Qualified Nursery Practitioner ( Level 2 or Level 3)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, helping them to develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills.

*Duties*

* Manage daily activities and routines within the nursery to ensure a smooth operation.
* Provide high-quality childcare by engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
* Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to foster positive relationships.
* Drive the implementation of age-appropriate learning experiences that promote development.
* Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their achievements and areas for improvement.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment that adheres to health and safety standards.
* Support children’s individual needs, ensuring inclusivity and respect for diversity.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create an effective team dynamic.

*Skills*

* Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with children and parents.
* Leadership abilities to guide and inspire both children and fellow practitioners.
* A solid understanding of childcare principles and early childhood education practices.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
* A nurturing attitude towards children's development and well-being.
* Flexibility to adapt to changing situations within the nursery environment.

Pay: £12.40-£13.50 per hour
