Level 3 Early Years Educator

Little Amesbury is a wonderful nursery setting with friendly staff who are passionate about Early Years childcare. The nursery is continuing to grow in popularity and we are currently recruiting additional qualified staff to meet the increase in demand. Our baby room opened in September 2023 and in September 2024 we doubled our capacity We also have a pre-nursery, nursery and pre-school within our purpose built EYFS building. We have daily specialist teaching in Makaton, music, French, tennis, forest school and dance.

We are adding to our qualified nursery staff team as our numbers grow. We are looking for Level 3 to work 4 days a week 8-6. We are open all year round so cannot offer term-time only contracts for permanent staff. *Responsibilities*

* Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the developmental needs of young children.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based learning.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and well-being.
* Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and share best practices.
* Maintain accurate records of children's development and achievements.

*Requirements*

* Level 3 qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare.
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or educational setting.
* Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
* Ability to manage classroom dynamics and promote positive behaviour.
