Full time Nanny required in Wandsworth from Jan/Feb 2026. Caring for one Girl aged 8 months old 9am-6pm. £20 Gross per hour.

Working Days: Monday – Friday

• January: 10:00am – 2:00pm
• From February: 9:00am – 6:00pm

Salary: £20 gross per hour

About the Family

We are a warm, friendly family based in Wandsworth (SW18) looking for a caring, confident nanny to look after their daughter, who will be 8 months old at the start of the role. This is a sole-charge position, with a parent occasionally working from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nurturing, attentive and developmentally supportive care for an 8-month-old baby
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote developmental milestones (sensory play, reading, music, outings, etc.)
• Support routine including naps, feeding and playtime
• Prepare healthy meals/snacks for the child
• Take the baby to local classes, playgroups and activities (if desired)
• Maintain a safe and stimulating environment
• Carry out standard nursery duties, including:
  • Keeping play areas and the child’s room tidy
  • Children’s laundry
  • Sterilising bottles/feeding equipment (if required)
• Provide daily communication to parents on routine, development and activities

Requirements

• Experience caring for babies under 1 year
• Warm, reliable and confident in sole-charge care
• Strong understanding of infant development and routines
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS check and recent references
• Paediatric First Aid (or willingness to update)

Preferred (Not Essential)

• Early years or childcare qualifications
• Experience transitioning babies through developmental stages (weaning, nap schedule changes, etc.)
