4871CAG: Live-in Domestic Couple to start ASAP in Grasse, France

Our client is seeking a Caretaker Couple for their second residence located on the heights of Grasse (Alpes-Maritimes). The couple will be responsible for both interior and exterior maintenance of the property.

This is a permanent, full-time position with accommodation provided and an immediate start.

Interior Maintenance

• Complete housekeeping duties (cleaning, polishing, waxing, dusting, etc.).
• Manage stocks of cleaning products.
• Prepare rooms ahead of the owner’s or family’s visits.
• Linen care (washing, ironing, folding, and storage).
• Shopping and errands upon request.

Exterior Maintenance

• Maintain the surroundings of the estate, terraces, and summer kitchen.
• Perform minor DIY tasks and small repairs.
• Oversee the upkeep and proper functioning of the two swimming pools.
• Report technical issues or equipment malfunctions (boilers, natural spring, storage tanks).

Operational & Administrative Support

• Drive the owner or guests on request.
• Assist the real estate portfolio manager when required (painting, repairs, assembling furniture, etc.).
• Welcome external providers, suppliers, and tradespeople.
• Handle small administrative tasks and basic bookkeeping (expense reporting).

Security & Supervision

• Ensure the security of the estate (alarms, CCTV, entrances).
• Provide surveillance and general guarding of the property.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar professional environment.
• Dynamic, versatile, and autonomous individuals.
• Appreciation for working in a historical setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Absolute confidentiality and discretion.
• Fluent French.
• Valid driver’s licence for both members of the couple preferred.
