Lakewood Family Seeking Infant Nanny to start in January

 

Located at: W Jewell and S Garrison

Schedule & Guaranteed Hours: Monday through Friday 8:30/9 a.m. to 5/5:30 p.m. The family is happy to guarantee 40 hours per week, but some weeks may be 45 hours so flexibility is required.
Live-In / Live-Out: Live-out
Commitment/Contract Length: This is a long-term position for 1+ year - longer if it’s a great match.
Start Date: January 5th, 2026

Family and Household Dynamics

Children's Ages: Care will be for one children who is 5 months old.

About the Children:

This baby is happy and healthy! He loves tummy time and is hitting his milestones on time. He has a good eating and sleeping schedule, he's a dream!

About the Family:
  • Mom works full time from home in her private office, she travels occasionally for work.
  • Dad works full time outside of the home.
About the Pets:
  • This family has two dogs - all candidates must be pet friendly.

Key Responsibilities

Standard Duties:

  • All standard nanny duties including baby laundry, bottle prep and sanitation, washing pump parts, light tidying, and getting out of the home to the local park and activities.
  • The nanny will focus daily on sensory and developmental activities.
Travel Requirements:
  • No travel is required for this position.

Desired Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications…

  • 2+ years of nanny experience with infants
  • A Montessori background would be nice but not required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish or French is desired.

Compensation and Benefits

Rate of Pay (gross):
  • The family is offering $28-$32/hour (gross). Based on the guaranteed hours, this equates to an annualized compensation of $58,200 - $66,500 per year (gross).
Benefits and Perks Offered:
  • This family is offering all standard benefits, including 2+ weeks of paid time off, paid major holidays, paid sick days and gas/mileage reimbursement for driving on the job.
Any Additional Perks:
  • This family is also open to offering a health insurance reimbursement based on the candidate’s needs/total compensation package.

  • Have a minimum of 2-3+ years of applicable professional experience verifiable with references
  • Have strong professional and personal references
  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • Are 18+ years old and a high school graduate (2-4+ year degrees preferred)
  • Are authorized to work in the U.S. without restriction
  • Are a non-smoker
  • Committed to professional, legal pay
  • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to renew prior to hire)
  • Have all standard vaccinations, including flu, tdap.
