MISSION STATEMENTCSG Playschool is a community-based  setting  which aims to provide a child-focused environment for children aged between 2 and 4 years of age where the curriculum emerges from the interests, strengths and needs of the children.The CSG playgroup is committed to providing a fun, nurturing and curiosity driven environment where children develop a love for learning.  CSG playgroup provides a learning environment that supports children to develop the strengths and skills necessary for them to construct their own knowledge and prepare them for school. We aim to provide a safe learning environment with a welcoming atmosphere which creates a sense of belonging amongst the families. We maintain an inclusive environment which acknowledges and respects children from diverse family and cultural backgrounds. 

VISION STATEMENTCSG Playgroup will strive to develop and uphold best practice. We understand that best practice relies on maintaining a professional attitude and approach at all times.Guided by high expectations coupled with the knowledge that all children learn at different levels and speeds, our staff will provide children with a broad range of educational & fun opportunities that will help each child learn to the best of his or her abilities.  We will strive to develop literacy skills as well as provide experiences that enrich each child’s social, emotional, physical, cognitive, intellectual, and creative abilities. Children will have a safe, wholesome, nurturing educational experience.  Children will be in a safe learning environment in which children can solve problems and express their feelings through words, art and other creative areas.  Children will be exposed to positive character lessons and experiences, used to help shape them into successful members of a social world. Parents are an integral part of the educational process.  In recognition of this important role, parent involvement is actively sought, encouraged and welcomed. 

We are OFSTED registered  for 22 children per session

Morning Sessions:
Monday to Thursday 9 am to 11.30am

We also offer a pick up service from CSG Nursery School.

Optional Lunch Club to 1 pm

Afternoon Sessions:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 12 noon to 3 pm

Woodland Warriors open to all Thursday from 13.00pm till 15.00pm cost £15 per child/per session.
