The House Manager is responsible for working closely with the Shelter Manager and other employees to ensure a positive and safe environment for residents while ensuring the functions of the program needs are met. RESPONSIBILITIES Provide supervision and training for direct care employees and volunteers Oversee the weekly inventory of agency supplies and food to shop as needed to ensure adequate resources. Responsible for employee training in accordance with the Department of Education Guidelines. Maintain current and accurate documentation of program evening activities for volunteerism, residents’ chores, program meetings and trainings. Assign residents chores, lockers, cabinets upon entry to the shelter. Complete room safety monitoring by checking effectiveness of smoke detector, child window safety guards, electrical outlets and other mechanics prior to move in date Work in compliance with Direct Care 11 employees to organize and prepare resident rooms...
