Special requirements (please describe your ideal candidate or tell us more about what you are looking for):
This lovely family are looking for a permanent live out nanny in Maida Vale. Mother originally from Korea and father is from Italy. Their baby daughter is just over 2 months now and mum will be going back to work at the end of October when she will be about 4 months. Given this, ideally they would like someone who has had experience of working with small babies. She is their first baby. Both parents work in finance and have a pretty demanding work schedule. Mum does a lot of frequent overseas travels (Europe, US, Asia) and father works in trading. Given this, flexibility around the work hours is a key criteria for them. They are looking for someone on full time basis (50-55 hours) and will try to release the nanny if they finish early from work, etc. In October, it's likely that mum will be working from home most days but nanny will have the sole charge of the baby during the working hours. In terms of languages, ideally they would like an Italian speaker, french or fluent english. They live in Maida vale in a mansion block flat. The flat has a communal garden and also right next to the Paddington recreation center so the nanny will have good options for pram walks with the baby, etc. As the baby grows older, they plan to sign her up for various activities (but don't expect the nanny to drive with the baby), so would like a nanny who is also active, energetic and who take an interest in the overall development of the baby. They are looking for a nanny that can stay on a relatively long term basis (they are planning to send the baby to a nursery part time from 2 years old and school from 5 years old but plan to keep the nanny full time) so really see this as finding someone who can be an extended part of the family. As people, parents are quite active, fun loving, and think ourselves as fair and transparent employers and hope to find nanny who share similar values.
