A delightful Christian family is looking to welcome a creative nanny to care for their 4-year-old son and their 16-month-old son in Earlsfield, South West London. The Christian nanny will share an alignment of the same core values as the family.
The nanny will be kind, loving, exhibit emotional warmth, be patient, show enthusiasm and generosity. The nanny will be skilful in the care and nurturing of the family’s children whilst being consistent and dependable. The creative nanny will partner with the family to uphold and strengthen these values in their children. This includes the ability to regularly talk about emotions and to coach their children through healthy ways to deal with adverse emotions as they arise.
The family’s eldest son is imaginative, creative and loves to talk and tell stories. The nanny must excel at encouraging creativity in children and enjoys arts and crafts.
Their eldest son attends nursery each afternoon which is walking distance away from the family’s home. All normal nursery duties are required. The family have a dog.
The family is offering up to 25 hours per week. This live-out position is for two full days per week. Friday is a preferred day and the nanny can choose the second day.
The hours over two full days will consist of 12.5 hours per day which will include evening care. The starting time could be from 9:00am – 21:30pm. This will be discussed further with the family.
If the nanny prefers to work the 25 hours over three days or throughout the week the family is open to this option. The family will be relocating soon however this will be in the same area the family currently resides in.
The family is looking for the candidate to start the 1st of July 2020 however the family is willing to be flexible for the right candidate and will consider waiting a longer period. The mum will be at home however usually not present and the nanny will be responsible for caring for the children on a sole charge basis.
The family is offering £14 – £18 gross per hour but flexible for the right candidate. This position is a 12-month contract with the possibility of the contract being renewed.
The nanny must be willing to become Ofsted registered. The family will pay for the annual Ofsted registration fee. If the nanny can speak an additional language this will be welcomed but is not a necessity.
The following requirements must be met:
Being creative, patient and provide a nurturing environment;
Must be legally allowed to work in the UK;
Have the relevant sole charge experience caring for toddlers and preschool age children;
An up to date Paediatric First Aid training/certificate;
An up to date Enhanced DBS Certificate stating Child Workforce;
Public Liability insurance [nanny insurance] and
Three written childcare references that may be contacted [two may be accepted in certain circumstances only].
