Nanny/Junior required for family in New Barnet, London/Hertfordshire -
Children: three children ages 15, 13 and 19 months old.
Pets: one cat.
Take toddler to playgroups, music class or other appropriate activities as well as arrange and host play dates.
Prepare lunchtime and evening meal and help with normal baby milestones such as potty training.
Main nanny responsibility is for the baby and to be a responsible adult for the autistic son. Eldest son requires no care other than providing him with snacks.
Care of children's rooms - keeping tidy, washing and ironing clothes, hoovering and dusting rooms, making beds and putting out clothes for bedtime / next morning.
Helping with breakfast (preparing), dressing, washing and cleaning teeth. Waiting with autistic son for school bus and putting him on bus at the start of day and being there to get him off of the bus at the end of the day.
Making sure that messages are passed to and from the escort for school / home. Wiping kitchen surfaces after meal preparation, loading and unloading the dishwasher after meals and preparing healthy meals.
Preparing snacks for the children.
Helping with bath and bedtime devising and delivering a range of fun and educational activities for the toddler including sensory play, art and craft and reading.
Talking with the autistic son and being interested in his computer games, just being generally fun and light hearted around him.
Accompanying the family on day trips as an extra pair of hands.
Taking children to appointments on our behalf if necessary.
Sole care of the toddler will be required during the day.
Mon- Thurs 7.30am-5pm.
Babysitting and overtime may be required.
Weekly salary: £378 per week.
