Live in Nanny (Separate accommodation)

Exciting new opportunity in the southeast Buckinghamshire area offering private accommodation for an experienced and qualified nanny

A family located in the southeast Buckinghamshire area is looking for a qualified nanny to join their family to care for their children on a sole charge basis. The older children will be at school during the day and the 3 year old is in nursery three mornings and two full days (going to reception full time in September 2024), so it will be mainly focused on the youngest during the day. During the school holidays the family do travel (nanny not required to travel but a bonus if they are able to) and the older children do also attend camps/playdates.

The family is looking for someone who is professional, independent, calm and kind. This is a busy household with two working parents (working from home sometimes but leave the nanny to it) but they are also organised so are looking for someone who also holds this skill.

General duties:

• Getting the oldest ready for school (parents generally do school run)
• Getting the youngest up and giving them breakfast
• Attending and arranging different groups, activities, playdates and doing activities with youngest and toddler (when not a nursery)
• Playing with the children, going to the park, doing arts and crafts or arranging day trips
• Overseeing the oldest children with their homework
• Light nursery duties – laundry and tidying the children’s toys (housekeeper hired)
• Preparing meals for the children and healthy snacks

Accommodation: Separate apartment in basement – bedroom, bathroom, lounge and kitchen

Candidate requirements:

• A driver is required – car provided for both work and to use during time off
• A native English speaker
• Someone who holds a childcare qualification, someone who is professional and can manage their day
• Looking for a long-term position as the family would like someone to grow with the family
• Must be pet friendly as the family have a cat

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
