Live in Nanny

New opportunity in Norfolk for an experienced nanny to care for one little girl on a sole charge basis

A family located in Norfolk who currently have a maternity nurse through Eden is looking for a nanny to join them to look after their baby on a sole charge basis. Mum will be returning to work in April, so there will be a settling in period for the nanny where the hours will build up for mums return to work. The family live on a large estate so there is lots of outside space to enjoy fresh air. The family also have three large dogs so the suitable candidate must be happy to work in a home with pets (no duties required).

Both parents are working professionals and will be based in London during the week. The suitable candidate would be able to take on all sole charge duties of the little girl and also be flexible to visit the parents in London so they can spend time with her. The family would like to find someone who is calm, reliable, caring and able to support the different development stages.

General duties:

• All sole charge daily duties for a young baby
• Supporting her learning and development
• Organising activities and eventually playdates and different groups
• Taking little girl to appointments
• Going for walks and exploring nature
• Following the little girl’s routine – naps, feeding etc
• All feeding duties – eventual supporting weaning and then cooking and preparing snacks for little girl
• Some nursery duties – care of babies areas and some laundry (family also have a full time housekeeper)
• Travelling to London with the parents/to visit them with the little girl
• Occasional travel to Greece with the family

Hours:

• Monday to Thursday – 24 hours
• Friday – finishing at 5pm

Accommodation: Bedroom, bathroom and living area on separate floor

Candidate requirements:

• Must have experience working with similar ages, able to support different milestones and have sole charge of the little girl during the day and evenings
• Must be happy to work in a home with three dogs (duties not required)
• A driver is required
• Able to work in a home with another member of staff – full time housekeeper hired
• Someone who is looking for a long term position and wants to become part of the family

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
