Nanny for 4 hours per day

A Nanny for 4 hours per day is needed by this lovely family in Fulham, London to help them look after their two school-aged children. They seek someone who has good experience in helping with homework. The candidate will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the children. Their ideal candidate will hold an education degree or maybe a teaching qualification. The nanny needs to work in two different houses which is a walking distance only. The candidate needs to have some flexibility to do Proxy Parenting quite often. The family has two cats so someone pet-friendly would be ideal for this role.

Working hours: Week 1: Monday-Friday with the mother, working around 20 hours per week. Proxy parenting is occasionally required.

Week 2: Monday-Friday with the father, on average 40 hours per week. Proxy parenting is occasionally required plus two evenings of babysitting.

Duties include:

• making sure the children are up early from bed
• washing and dressing them
• preparing healthy breakfasts and snacks
• teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
• feeding them
• helping them with homework
• arranging age-appropriate activities
• playing with them
• taking them to various playdates
• preparing them for bed and reading them stories
• school runs

A Nanny for 4 hours per day must have a valid first aid qualification. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
