English nanny/ governess in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia - FG5046

An English language governess is required to take care of 2 kids aged 4 and 5, working 6 days per week, for up to 10 hours per day. There will be breaks during the day - the kids have preschool 7am - 1pm 5 days per week, and there are other nannies in this fully-staffed household.

The children speak excellent English (with a British accent) and the family is looking for a candidate with Montessori or Reggio Emilia (or equivalent) experience. Any experience in child psychology/ behavioural therapy would be a plus.

The family live in Saudi Arabia with regular travel to Dubai, Los Angeles, London and Paris.

One month live-in in an apartment on the premises, then one month live-out, with a room provided in a villa in the nearby private village. This accommodation schedule will be shared with the family’s Spanish nanny.

The candidate:


The governess should be a native-level speaker of English. She should help the children to improve their foreign language skills through ‘learn through play’ lessons (where required), different materials, games and techniques suitable for their age. Experience in music or sports would be a big plus. Above all, the right candidate will be a creative, energetic, sporty person with significant experience in teaching.

The ideal candidate will be engaging and responsible; a kind, warm and fun person. The candidate should be flexible and adaptable and a good team player. Driving is not obligatory.

The client is looking for a positive, exceptional, fresh, talented, experienced individual with a good educational background. There will be a focus on critical thinking, the arts and creativity - the client would love to find a nanny who can help the kids develop and be productive.


First Aid training would be a bonus.

The offer:

One year contract

4 weeks paid holiday per year

1800 GBP per week 

Flights and visas covered by client
