Full-time Live-in Experienced Butler for UHNW Couple in Taipei, Taiwan + Frequent Travel

BUTLER FOR YOU´s client is a UHNW couple based in Taipei, Taiwan. The Principal is originally from the US and his wife is from Taiwan.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Butler to manage this UHNW couples’ private residence in Taipei, coordinating a small team of household staff (driver and housekeeper), as well as ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the household.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated and organized individual with excellent communication skills (Proficiency in English is required and Mandarin is an asset).

Key Responsibilities:

Household Management:

• Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day running of the home,
  ensuring all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness
  and organization.
• Inventory Management: Maintain and manage household supplies,
  ensuring stock levels are adequate for daily living and events.
• Scheduling & Maintenance: Coordinate regular maintenance, such as
  repairs and upkeep of household equipment, while keeping track of the
  maintenance schedule.
• Staff Coordination: Coordinate with other household staff, including
  cleaner, driver, and chef, to ensure smooth operations and that tasks are
  completed according to the homeowner’s preferences and needs.

Guest Services:

• Meal Service: Serve meals and beverages, ensuring impeccable table
  settings and adherence to formal dining etiquette.
• Personalized Service: Anticipate the needs of homeowners and guests,
  fulfilling requests for personal items, comfort, or activities during their
  stay.
• Arranging Special Requests: Coordinate arrangements for homeowners,
  such as booking reservations, organizing transportation, or arranging
  personal activities.

Personal Assistance:

• Schedule Management: Manage the homeowner’s calendar, coordinate
  appointments, and handle personal errands or tasks.
• Travel and Logistics: Organize travel arrangements, including flight
  bookings, accommodations, and transportation for homeowners or
  guests.
• Personal Errands: Run errands, shop for groceries, or arrange services
  like dry cleaning, deliveries, and more.
• Ability to travel frequently to the USA, Europe, Singapore, Japan, and the Maldives.

Maintaining High Standards:

• Fine Dining Service: Provide excellent service during meals, from setting
  the table to serve food and wine according to proper etiquette.
• Attention to Detail: Ensure that all aspects of the home (furniture,
  artwork, antiques, linens, etc.) are meticulously cared for and
  maintained.

Security and Confidentiality:

• Maintain Privacy: Safeguard personal and confidential matters of the
  household, including sensitive information about homeowners,
  schedules, and events.
• Oversee Security Measures: Monitor security protocols, such as access
  control, alarm systems, and the safety of guests and family members.
  Skills and Qualities:
• Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with guests, family
  members, and staff politely, courteously, and professionally.
• Attention to Detail: Focus on the appearance, cleanliness, and
• organization of the home.
• Etiquette and Manners: Knowledge of formal dining, decorum, and
  proper etiquette in both social and professional settings.
• Discretion and Trustworthiness: Ability to handle sensitive information
  and maintain privacy.
• Organizational and Management Skills: Ability to multitask effectively,
  particularly during events or while coordinating multiple household staff.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to work flexible hours, including
  evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Compensation Package:

• Superb accommodation will be provided
• All visa and travel expenses will be covered.
• Salary is dependent in experience, although circa Euro 6,000 net per month
• Temporary accommodation is provided during probation, and assistance given finding something more permanent once a successful probation period (3 months) is completed 

This is a multi-faceted job for an experienced butler who is experienced internationally. Multilingualism is a great plus, with English being essential.
