Job Summary

We are seeking an At Home Tutor to provide academic support and guidance to students of various ages and educational backgrounds. The ideal candidate will have experience in tutoring and a passion for helping students achieve their learning goals.

Candidates are encouraged to specialize in one of the listed services, as providing all of them is not required.

Provide one-on-one or small group lessons in the following subjects:

  • Acting
  • Drawing
  • Painting
  • Photography
  • Makeup Artistry
  • Dance
  • Arabic
  • ESL (English as a Second Language)
  • English
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Mandarin
  • Portuguese

  • Sign Language
  • Piano
  • Guitar
  • Violin
  • Drum
  • Wind Instruments
  • Personal Gym Training
  • Swimming
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Yoga

Duties

- Develop and implement customized lesson plans based on individual student needs and goals.

- Utilize learning technology to enhance tutoring sessions

- Assist students with homework assignments and test preparation

- Implement effective classroom management techniques

- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide progress updates

- Track and assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary

- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment

- Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in your subject area

Qualifications:

  • Expertise in one or more of the listed subjects.
  • Proven experience in teaching or tutoring.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, dedication, and a passion for teaching.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Relevant certification or degree in the subject area is preferred but not required.
  • For language tutors, fluency in the language being taught.
