About the Role: As an HS English tutor, you will provide in-person tutoring sessions in Ridgewood, NJ, and the surrounding areas, focusing on English, reading and writing skills. Your responsibilities will include:

• Scheduling Sessions: Communicating with parents to schedule sessions at times that work for both of you.
• Leading Sessions: Conducting in-person tutoring sessions in students homes in the Ridgewood, NJ and surrounding areas.
• Tracking Progress: Submitting session reports to monitor student improvement.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
• Education: Bachelor's degree required. K-12 teaching certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Location: Must be willing and able to commute within a 10-15 mile radius of Ridgewood, NJ.
• Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Skills: Strong communication skills, flexibility, reliability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
