After School Teacher-Tutor

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced educators willing to work in Baltimore County schools specifically. Teachers will provide in person small group tutoring on Tuesdays and Thursdays between four and 5:30 PM from December 3, 2024 to June 6 2025. Positions are available for Math and ELA instruction.

Compensation is $45/hour for live tutoring and $32/hour for data entry and planning

Your Teacher Tutors is a teacher founded and run tutoring company in Baltimore, MD, with tutors and clients all over the DMV and beyond. Our goal is to provide families with academic peace of mind through highly-certified teachers who adequately prepare students to reach their highest potential.

Responsibilities

• Customize resources according to students’ unique needs
• Administer pre/post-assessments
• Track/maintain accurate attendance and performance data

Qualifications

• Must be a certified teacher or former/current private school teacher (retired educators and those in the process of certification are welcome to apply) to work with individual clients and partnerships
• Tutoring experience is preferred but will train the right candidate
• Passionate about education and comfortable working with diverse groups of students
• Able to maintain communication with staff and clients using multiple digital platforms (ex: Zoom, GoogleMeet, Slack)
