Part-time Daily Housekeeper in St Albans, Hertfordshire, UK

Open to London based candidates as well – 20 minutes on train from Kings Cross and client will pay train fares.

3 or 4 days per week, 5 or 6 hrs per day – client is flexible. Ideal for those with school age children.

Super role with a nice working couple who have a teenager and a small, friendly dog. The family are looking for an experienced Housekeeper who is ideally looking for a long-term role. The property is over 2 floors, has 5 en-suite bedrooms and is situated 5 minutes from the local train station.

Main responsibilities:

• Clean, dust, vacuum, polish all areas of the home to a high standard
• Keep the house organised
• Ironing, and laundry if needed
• Care of furniture, antiques, glass etc.
• Change bed linens

Candidate requirements

• Previous private residence experience
• Cleaning to a good standard with attention to detail
• Knowledge of how to care for interiors/products/equipment
• Positive/cheerful attitude
• Proactive, trustworthy and maintain confidentiality

Excellent checkable references and current DBS required.

• Start ASAP
• Salary – £20 per hr gross
• Days – client is flexible on 3 or 4 days per week, whatever works for you. Mon, Wed and Thurs would be good, but again flexible.
• Hours 10 am to 4 pm. Can be to 3pm if you have children at school.
