Daily Nanny

Fantastic Daily Nanny opportunity with a lovely family in Paddington! Open to 4.5 days per week OR 4 days per week! Mix of sole and shared care! 6 min walk from Paddington Station!

Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a Daily Nanny to join their family to look after their 15 week old and 19 month old sons. The role will be a mix of sole and shared care as mum will be around. The 19 month old is currently in nursery 3x days per week, from September it will increase to 4x days per week (full days). The main focus during the day will be the youngest while his brother is in nursery.

Both children are in very good routines, mum would like the nanny to keep that going. Mum would also like the Nanny to travel with the family – 2 weeks in Spring, 3 weeks in Summer and 1 or 2 weeks at other times during the year. Mum would also like the Nanny to babysit on Thursday evenings which will be paid extra.

Days and Hours:

Option 1 – Monday to Thursday full days with half day on Friday – 8am to 7pm, Friday 8am to 1pm (49 hours per week)

Option 2 – 4x days per week with full days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 8am to 7pm (44 hours per week)

General duties:

• All childcare related duties
• Nursery drop and pick up
• Cooking for the children
• Laundry for the children
• Playdates
• Take to activities, parks and playgrounds
• Playing and entertaining
• Putting down for naps
• Nursery duties
• Occasional proxy parenting
• Helping the children to hit their milestones
• Keeping the children in good routines

Candidate requirements:

• Experience with children of similar age
• Experience looking after multiple children
• Previous experience working in a nursery OR childcare qualifications
• Someone who really engages with children and has an interest in their development
• Someone bubbly, loving and hands on
• Valid passport for travel with the family

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
