[8210] Maternity nurse in Croydon to help with routine

Responsibilities

A family in Croydon are looking for a maternity nurse to help them routine and settling their baby. They have a baby girl who will be 10 weeks old when the role starts and a 4 year old son.

The most tricky part of the day is the evening, as they struggle to get her to settle. She naps quite well during the day, although only when she is in a pram, and sleeps well once she gets to sleep, around 9/10pm.

They are looking for someone who is experienced with implementing a gentle, babyled routine, especially when it comes to coordinating it with two children. They would also like someone who can coach them on how to help the baby to settle in a cot/Moses basket. They would like to stop feeding her to sleep on the breast or when pushed in her pram.

Personality wise, a maternity nurse who is organised, friendly and will listen to the parents while also offering their own advice.

Ideally you will start with 1-2 days of 24 hours, so you can see the full sleep cycle, and then drop that to focus on the evenings. This could be 6-10 hours a day depending on what you think would work best - they are very open to suggestions on the schedule. The booking will be for 1-2 weeks.

The rates are £250-340 per 24 hours, and £18-20 per hour after that.
