Job Description
This is a permanent, live in role caring for two children aged 4 and 6 years old, working alongside another Nanny and a very hands on Mum. The ideal Nanny would be fun, creative and sporty with a great imagination and ability to plan fun and educational activities for the children.
The family practice positive parenting and follow parenting strategies from Janet Lansbury, Dr Becky Kennedy and Elaine Halliday. So a Nanny who is familiar with this type of parenting or who is open minded and willing to learn more about this essential.
This is a fully staffed house, so minimal housekeeping and cooking is required, however an ability to muck in and be a team player is a must. The household is extremely busy, so someone who is proactive, organised and reliable is required. As the family travel often, there is a lot of time spend planning, organising and packing for upcoming trips so it’s essential to have some experience traveling with children. The parents intend on adding to their family in the not so distant future so new born experience would also beneficial.
The family are looking for the perfect person to add to the team and so they are willing to wait for the right person to come along.
Hours of work would be 24/5 however family are willing to be flexible with this for the right person. Nanny would live in the family home with own bedroom / bathroom provided. Swedish speaking Nanny would be a bonus.
