Daily Governess

Daily Governess position in Essex, great working areas and a lovely family who are looking for someone who can support three girls with the core subjects!

A family located in Essex are looking for an experienced Governess who can support their three older children with their core subject – Maths, English and Science.

The Governess would be supporting the 15 year old who is doing her GCSE’s and 10 year old who needs more support out school time to help her develop her education. You will also support the 13 year old who is very bright with additional tutoring and eventually during her GCSE’s.

General duties:

• Supporting the children with core subjects – Maths, English and Science
• Preparing fun activities, games and lessons for the girls
• Able to support the three girls different stages
• Ability to support, revise with and guide 15 year old through GCSE’s

Days and hours:

• Term time: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday – 6.30pm until 8.30pm and Wednesday 4pm until 7/7.30pm and one or two Saturday’s a month 2pm to 4pm

• School Holidays: Monday to Friday, 8am 1pm

Candidate requirements:

• Must have either Teaching, Governess or Tutor experience and can support core subjects
• Must be happy to work in a home with pets (no duties)
• Fluent/Native English speaker is required
• Experience working with the same age groups – 10, 13 and 15 years old

DBS check required at offer stage & and a current First Aid Certificate
