Daily Nanny

Job Summary:  This Lovely young family of three soon to be 4 are looking for an experienced nanny to start in July. Both parents work but mum will be on maternity leave and will be very hands on with the children when you start. However, she wants to reassure any nanny that she believes in good relationships and the nanny would be working in a team raising the children. It is important that you are confident with both children although this would only be in school holidays etc. The grandparents live locally and love to help with the grandchildren. Their son is currently in Nursery but will be going to school in September. The school is a tube ride away and a driver is preferred as their home is a good 20-minute walk to their home. They family have a car for you to use and can offer parking for your own car.

General duties:

• Mostly sole charge with shared to start while mum is on maternity leave.
• Planning activities that are age appropriate and will stimulate development.
• Keeping the children’s areas today, responsible for their laundry
• Feeding – bottles and maybe some cooking for the children
• Nursery/school runs- working in a team with mum so that the baby does not have to go on the runs.
• Teaching the children manners and providing a safe and happy environment- being firm but fair,
• Organizing a mix of indoor and outdoor play

Candidate requirements:

The family are loving kind parents, and they want a nanny to be part of their family helping to raise the children. They are fortunate to have grandparents nearby who will come and visit or help with picking up their oldest grandchild on occasion. They are a laid-back happy family, who want to raise their children to be polite, independent with good manners. The nanny will have their full support with implementing discipline and boundaries. Experience with babies and young children is very important. Good English skills are important and a driver.

Salary: up to £22 gross an hour depending on your experience (£46800-£51480 gross annum)
