[J4127] NOTTING HILL W11 + travel: Live-in OR (local) Daily Nanny/PA (B5.5 & G3.5 years)

Our busy clients are seeking a new Nanny/PA for their 2 children, B6 & G4 years. The family are seeking a long-term nanny who has a good understanding of how to collaborate and communicate effectively in support of their children’s development and routine. A nanny who is organised, calm and empathetic, with a tidy-as-you-go manner would be best-suited for this position. 

Our clients can consider both Live-in and Daily candidates, but local Daily applicants would be best suited. The working hours for both Live-in & Daily nannies will be Monday to Friday with 2 - 3 nights babysitting during the week (3 days will be 07.30-19.30, 2 days will be a later start/finish). The clients can provide some flexibility on the schedule during the mornings in term time. 

The family’s eldest is at full time school and their girl is currently at nursery and will be starting school in September, both schools in walking distance. Our clients reside in Notting Hill and live in a beautiful area with a communal garden, which is fabulous for the children. The children have a good routine and like to be kept busy. Ideal candidate would be proactive and confident to organise age-appropriate activities and other developmental stages as they grow. The family encourages fresh air and sporting activities with the children, and would love their new nanny to continue this. Therefore, this position would suit someone active, super-organised and proactive - who has an interest in developmental play, outdoor activities, and enjoys cooking from fresh ingredients for the children. With both children attending nursery and school, a nanny with PA experience or willingness to support on household admin during some of the day-time hours (term-time) would be a plus.

There is some gorgeous travel (mainly EU, and often up to 5-6 weeks away over the summer), so the nanny must be happy to support the family on trips away. If nanny had either French or Spanish as a second language, this would be a real positive (although not essential). A driver would be helpful, but not a prerequisite - as driving would mostly be for when the family are travelling overseas. On occasion, the family would also require some proxy care, when the parents are away on business.

The new Nanny will be provided with a competitive salary, depending on individual credentials. For Live-in applicants, the nanny accommodation is within the home: a bedroom with ensuite bathroom, TV/Sky. For Daily, due to the required working hours, it would be better if the nanny is relatively local - Ladbroke Grove, Notting Hill Gate & Holland Park tube stations are pretty much equidistant).
