5 days per week- rota to include weekends
Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, proactive, flexible and able to travel internationally.

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic and professional housekeeper for a large 4 floored, 8 bedroomed house in Kensington. You will join a team of 4 housekeepers who have worked for the family for many years.

You will be required to work a five day week on a rotation with the other housekeepers so you take it in turns to cover weekends. This is a 9 hour day but you will be given an hour’s lunch break each day.

This is a fully staffed formal household so it is imperative that you can work as part of a team and have excellent communication skills and highly organised. You will report to the head housekeeper.

Essential Criteria

• Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a private household
• You must show longevity in previous roles. (The family will not look at anyone who has job hopped)
• Experience with antiques and valuables
• Proactive and have an eye for detail
• Take pride in your work
• Must be discreet and understand the importance of confidentiality.
• Flexible and able to travel occasionally.
• Well-mannered and courteous to your colleagues
• Excellent checkable references
• Freedom to travel with the family also on a rota with other housekeepers.

Duties are those of a hands-on housekeeper to include detailed cleaning, laundry, ironing, reporting of faulty / repairs required. Supervision of contractors, deliveries, running local errands

Salary £45-50,000 gross per year -ASAP Start. (HU3986)
