RESIDENTIAL DOMESTIC COUPLE

Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, manage the day to day housekeeping, good maintenance skills, wardrobe management, child and pet friendly, driver.

Average 48-50 hrs per week:
Monday 8.00-16.30
Tuesday 8.00-16.30
Friday 10.30 – 21.30
Saturday 13:00- 22:30
Sunday 13:00- 21:00

Experienced, full-time, live in domestic team of 2, required to partner with the existing long term domestic couple and work with other household team members including a House Manager, Chef, Nanny and 4 gardeners. The family consists of 2 principals, and they have 4 school aged children and a small dog. The property is used for weekends, holidays and during the Christmas period. 

Between the 2 of you, the following responsibilities would be shared:
Heavy housekeeping such as changing lightbulbs, changing plugs and cleaning external windows.
Cleaning outside areas/furniture
Household maintenance/handy person duties.
Serving the family both informal and formal dinners on occasion.
Driving the principals when required.
Cleaning and assisting with a large special collection of cars (Vintage and supercars)
Assisting the house manager with overseeing the contractors.
Daily housekeeping to include cleaning, washing, laundry and ironing to a high standard. Wardrobe management.
Maintaining inventories and stock levels for housekeeping supplies.
Assisting the chef washing up, preparing light snacks, beverages, juices and smoothies.
Ad hoc tasks and errands as required.

Willing to learn and be trained. This is a position for 2 people that will work well in a small team, and who both take pride in their work. You will both be hardworking, like to produce results, be hands on with a good eye for detail, diligent and reliable. Able to follow instructions and use your initiative.

A good level of both written and spoken English is essential, one of you must be a very confident driver and ideally one of you should be tech savvy too. DBS checks will be required.

Accommodation: Newly refurbished separate 1 bedroom split level accommodation away from the main house.
Salary: TOP END - Days off Wednesday & Thursday. Driver with own car essential, sorry no pets or dependents. Fluent English written and spoken and basic IT Skills required. Uniformed position – chino’s and polo shirt. (HU3371)
