Essential Requirements: Previous private house experience, confident driver with good London knowledge, wardrobe management, excellent valet skills, strong communication and organisational skills, proactive, self-starter.

A new and exciting position for an experienced, professional and flexible candidate with previous private house experience to work for a UHNW couple based in Notting Hill with regular travel to their US residences in Aspen, Nantucket and Palm Beach.

This is an all-encompassing role that will require you to work in a varied capacity. There is a small team of staff in each residence that you will work closely with. It’s an informal style but with the highest standards. Must be equally capable in front and back of house.

This role will require candidates who work in a proactive and extremely efficient manner. You must have excellent attention to detail with strong communication and organisation skills.
It is also imperative that you are a confident and calm driver with excellent knowledge of London.

Duties will include:

• Day to day butler service including table service, front of house, silver service, laying the table, basic DIY and house maintenance.
• Valet duties including steaming clothes, packing and unpacking, shoe polishing
• Assisting the housekeeper, PA and chef when required
• Liaising with contractors and other specialists in arts and furniture.
• Chauffeuring and deliveries and errands

We require an energetic and enthusiastic candidate who is free to travel for extensive periods. Generally, the principals are based in the UK from September – December, and May – June. They are in Nantucket July – August and Aspen and Palm Beach January to May. However, there will be opportunity for several weeks of interim breaks and return to the UK if desired during these periods.

The London property is a 4-storey home. Accommodation in London is a basement double bedroom and bathroom with attached kitchenette and media/sitting room. Separate accommodation provided at all other locations.
It would advantageous if you hold a shotgun licence.

Immediate start. Negotiable salary based on experience, private health insurance and other benefits available. Flexibility with the freedom to travel extensively is essential. Full time, working week hours and days will vary based on location, etc. References from positions with similar responsibilities essential. (HU4027)
