We are looking for a professional nanny to look after a 1.8 years old son on a live in Rota basis (1 week on / 1 week off). The mother and child live in Kensington and Chelsea, however they are planning to travel to Switzerland during the summer and winter for up to 2 months. We are therefore searching for a nanny who is flexible and who can travel with the family with ease. The child is a sweet and well behaved boy who is very easy to communicate with but he is very curious and needs to be looked after properly. The mother is a very busy lady and due to this, this nanny job is sole charge.

London Rota: 1 week on / 1 week off
Switzerland Rota: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off

We are searching for a fluent Russian, French or English speaker as the mother would like her son to communicate in either or all of the languages mentioned above. The mother currently communicates with her son in French and would love for the child to grow up learning the language and embracing the multilingual and multinational culture.

We are looking for candidates with a solid educational background who enjoys developing children by employing a range of technics and methods best suited to the child. Your everyday routine should include learning poems, organising mathematics lessons, puzzles and other development activities.

During the working weeks, whilst you are on duty, the working hours are 24/7.  The sleeping routine haven’t been established properly yet therefore sleeping in one room with the child is required.

There are a daily housekeeper and a private chef employed by the family.

Rota Nanny duties could include but not limited to:

• Creating a safe and stimulating environment for the child
• Morning routine (dressing, shower, breakfast, exercises)
• Arranging play dates and outings
• Indoor and outdoor play
• Educational activities and crafts
• Reading to the child
• Playing developing games
• Learning poems, songs, etc
• Going for walks
• Sleeping routine
• Feeding
• Cleaning after the child
• Travelling with the family

Minimal Requirements for a Rota Nanny in London:

• Minimum of 5 years similar work experience
• Educational background
• Excellent checkable references
• Fluent Russian, French or English
• UK working permit
